Project Honey
The world of Runeterra is vast with many regions, ideologies, and powerful forces. It shapes the champions within as much as they shape it. Xin Zhao was an Ionian, who came of age in Noxus, before becoming the embodiment of Demacian valor. He understood each culture in a way few in the world could. This knowledge led him to make the ultimate sacrifice. He knew this was the only way a mortal such as him could impact a world inhabited by gods.
Project Details
Across 2025 we wanted to take players on journey that began in Noxus and ended in the release of Zaahen. I worked as one of the primary architects of this year long story that took place in and around game. Additionally I the was lead on the four major cinematic story pieces. I co-wrote each piece and, alongside Fortiche, directed the four cinematics.
